Lorgnettes, Hand Made, Silver Coloured
The Oxford English Dictionary defines lorgnette or lorgnettes as 'a pair of glasses or opera glasses held by a long handle at one side', and rhodium as 'the chemical element of atomic number 45, a hard, dense silvery-white metal. (Symbol Rh)'
We currently offer a really beautifully hand made pair of silver coloured lorgnettes. The intricate detail is pictured at either end of the handle and the lorgnettes are operated with a simple flick mechanism.
They can be found within the accessories section of our website.
